Nearly a decade has passed since Australian art gallery owner Kevin Reid was shot and killed while walking home from dinner with his wife near Forsyth Park in Savannah on September 21, 2016 . Kevin heroically pushed his wife to safety before being fatally shot in the neck on East Waldburg Street .

Kevin had only been in Savannah a few months before his death, but his warmth and spirit had already touched so many—more than 100 people came to his memorial . He had opened the Australian Aboriginal Art Gallery on Broughton Street just months earlier, sharing his passion for the Aboriginal art and culture he’d spent 25 years documenting in the Australian deserts.

Surveillance footage suggests three people were involved in the attack . Despite ongoing investigation by the Savannah Cold Case Unit, no arrests have been made.

If you have any information about Kevin’s murder, please contact Savannah Police at 912-525-3124 or CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020. Someone knows something. His family deserves answers.
