Eye-level view of a candlelight vigil for victims of unsolved cases

Across Georgia, there are hundreds of unsolved cases—lives lost, families grieving, and stories waiting to be told. Many of these cases sit untouched for years not because investigators don’t care, but because resources are limited, testing is expensive, and public attention fades with time.

Unsolved Georgia was created to change that.

What began as a social media project highlighting cold cases has grown into a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to two missions: raising money for advanced forensic DNA testing and increasing public awareness around unsolved crimes. Our goal is simple—ensure that every case has a chance to move forward and every family has a chance at answers.

Through our DNA Testing Fund, we help agencies overcome financial barriers that prevent them from sending evidence to forensic labs. And with our Cold Case Awareness Fund, we use social media, outreach campaigns, and public visibility tools to keep these cases alive in the community’s memory.

Every share, every donation, and every conversation helps push these stories closer to resolution.

Unsolved cases don’t have to remain unsolved. Together, we can bring attention, resources, and hope to the families who need it most.
